Philippians 2: 5 What was your attitude today, your attitude is your choice You don’t have to have a good/bad attitude, your attitude is dependent on your choices It is not only a choice but a commandment of God to have this attitude, what attitude..? Same attitude as Jesus Has just as Paul writes, by the attitude you chose you can be free.  How many of you said I’m under the circumstances today?  Circumstances = water.   Jesus walked on the water for a short time.  As long as Moses focused on Jesus , he walked on the water.  Jesus wants us to walk on the water. How many of you like Freedom? How many live lives trying to grasp things we think we need?   When you begin to believe that everything is yours as a believer of Jesus Christ then nothing can be taken away from you. Knowing who you are allows you to have the same attitude as Christ had.  Jesus humbled himself and became “nothing”.  What would it be if you’re talking to someone and made yourself nothing?  You’d be focused on them not yourself.  Life is all about you not me when I make myself nothing.  Jesus made himself nothing when he came to the earth his focus was all about us… and as he walked this earth he was Free.  Why do we get high?  To get a feeling of freedom Paul says in his writing “All things are ours as believers” 1st Corinthians 3: 21 – 23 “No more boasting about men, ALL THINGS ARE YOURS” “You are of Christ and Christ is of God”  Do we sometimes feel:  “If I care about myself nobody will care about me?”  Why did people come to Jesus?  Because He was free, Made himself nothing and cared about the people. For us as believer there really is nothing for us to grasp.  Problem is we as humans tend to not believe that and try to hold on to the worldly things around us. Live like you have it all, because you truly to in God and it can’t be taken away from you. Jesus considered others better than himself.. part of making himself “nothing” “You’re better than me”  How many of us can really say that to someone?  We need to consider the interest of others.  It’s only possible to have His attitude when one really knows who one is.  At some point we all need to take and receive.   As a “taker” in life one can’t have the attitude of God. God gives us all gifts, talents, ministry, to share.   As you share the gift spreads and gets bigger and as does your freedom.  If you were given a million dollars and you shared it what would happen?  It would be gone.  As you use God’s gifts they grow.  When you’re not using your ministry gift you’re a dead cancerous cell.  Are you a grumbler, a taker, complainer.. keeping you from walking with Christ?          You are Free and Uninhibited in your Walk with Christ!
