Worship:  “Come, Just as you are to worship” JUST AS YOU ARE  We as worship team leaders are only here to worship God ourselves and help lead the congregation into worshipping Him for their own selves.  We’re not here to put on a show, it doesn’t matter what we sound like, we’re here to join together and Lift up our Voices to Him. Prayer Box:  If you need anything to be prayed for, as we all do, please fill out a prayer card. WE WANT TO PRAY FOR YOU.  Nobody’s perfect, nobody doesn’t need prayer, If you don’t need any prayer for you and your life please come and help show me how to be perfect! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!! Thank you for bearing children and caring and doing the Lord’s work in caring properly for their children.  Do we realize the sacrifices mother’s make?  Even though all mother’s aren’t perfect.  As human’s we all have imperfections.  As a mother, having children and raising them in His name is a form of obedience. If it wasn’t for Mom’s none of us would be here. - Mother’s Day Video Skit                                ~ Obedience ~ Obedience:  If you’re not obedient there will be negative consequences,  If you are obedient, you will see positive consequences in and around you. Genesis 2: 16–17 “¹⁶ And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; ¹⁷ but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”  “must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil”  Place where the first sin took place.  The first sin was a sin of disobedience.  Disobedience brought us death.  No more walks in the garden for Adam and Eve.  Brought death to the land, pain in childbirth, murder, separation, all acts of disobedience. Disobedience still has a price, still has consequences The earth is alive, all the trees, animals, sunshine.. Obedience brings life. What does obedience look like? Adam’s sin brought Death.  Obedience of Christ brought life Ephesians 2:5  “ made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. ” Obedience until death, Jesus was obedient even until death on the cross Delayed obedience is disobedience,  Due to missed opportunities God has lain out for us. Obedience to the gospel brings life to walk in the garden again, to see him and know him. Obedience brings life to those who believe, to those who worship, to those who serve, to those who are obedient. John 14:20-22 “²⁰ On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. ²¹ Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” ²² Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world? ” He who obeys him, loves him.  Through obedience God will make Himself known  to you. Don’t tell me to fall in Love with Jesus.  Show me how?     How did you fall in love with your spouse?  You met them, You spent time with them. Through Obedience He will disclose himself to him.  When you fall in love you’re going to be obedient.. how do you get there? - Spend time to get to know him.. - get to know him to fall in love with him. What are you going to do with the first commandment, any commandment?  Obey it The more you love him the more you obey him. The more you obey him the more you love him. The more you love him the more you obey him. The more you obey him the more you spend time with him.. etc. Listening to him is obeying him.  You WILL SEE THE RESULTS OF OBEDIENCE. Obedience to God Spirals up and give’s to you and me abundant life. Disobedience spirals downward.  What it cost then it costs now, brings death Through disobedience, life inside and out spirals down to a turbulent mess.  Turbulence. Strong hold. Addiction. Separation from God from Fellowship. If a nuclear bomb was dropped on Rome.  What would happen?  Be gone Release Nukes on your messes with God through obedience to Him, obliterate the mess. We all sin. Sin ruins fellowship.  Why does one lie?  Sometimes we eie because we’re fearful, or don’t want to be caught, so we lie. After lying.. or sinning.  We STILL HAVE CHOICES.  Tell the truth? Ask for forgiveness?  Confess your Sin(s) to God When we confess and make it right it’s an act of obedience.  It releases God into the situation.  Know God’s voice in your life.   It becomes more and more difficult to hear and listen to His voice through disobedience. As human’s we’re all going to sin from time to time, we all have that imperfection.  Through obedience;  you love and obey him and he’s released into your life.  Confession makes things right as an act of obedience. When you know it’s his voice you don’t hesitate, listen to him.  Try to hear him.  Make mistakes sometimes it’s not God but as he discloses himself to you more things will come and take place in your life. When someone’s hurting.. sometimes we can’t find the words.. sometimes we don’t need words, we need to just be there and show God’s Love.  Experience God’s love with them. God desires to be released because he has the life.  He has abundant life full of Joy the more you walk with God the more you are open to the abundance of life He has to release. Be still.  Listen.  When the time comes you will know How and When to listen to him. SPEND TIME WITH JESUS.  It’s not necessary that all day we fold our hands and close our eyes to say a prayer.. In the moment here and there and with cracks in our time we need to fill them spending time with Jesus.  Take that moment and just talk to Him about your day.. or take a moment to thank him.  God wants to hear us worship him, God wants to hear us ask for him, to Love him.                                         How do we get there?  Through being OBEDIENT TO HIM!
